Deliveries
Food delivery records
Keep the label with the delivery record. Take a photo, check the details Hygivo suggests, and save the delivery to your location’s history.
The problem
Delivery dockets get damp, batch codes are copied wrongly, and when a supplier recalls a batch nobody can find which delivery it came in.
How it works in Hygivo
- Take or choose a photo of the label.
- Hygivo reads the label on the phone and fills in what it found — product, batch or lot code, use-by or best-before date.
- You check those values, correct anything wrong, and add the supplier, arrival temperature and van/packaging condition where your procedure asks for them.
- Accept or reject the delivery. A rejection is saved with its reason.
- Save, then go straight to the next delivery.
The photo stays with the record, so anyone authorised can see exactly what the label said.
Honest about what a label shows
If a label has no batch code, or it can’t be read, you record exactly that — “not on pack”, “unreadable” or “on outer packaging” — instead of typing something to fill the box. A date without a year is never given one silently. Values Hygivo suggested and values a person confirmed are stored separately.
